NWCF is where I began my functional fitness journey and I am thrilled to be back! I was an instant fan of the adaptability and universality of the sport, but it was the community that kept me coming back. There is something magical about the bonds that are forged amidst the sweat and struggle of a great workout.
Favorite Movement: Toes to Bar & Deadlifts
Least Favorite Movement: Burpees & Rowing
Favorite WOD: 12 Days of Christmas
My motivation as a coach: I want each and every one of my athletes to move well and feel great for a lifetime. My primary goal is to help each athlete build a solid foundation of impeccable movement first, and then layer in intensity. I’m here to help athletes find their edges, invite them to push past them and encourage them to celebrate the progress! I truly believe that the sport of functional fitness provides an unmatched opportunity to grow in all dimensions towards the best versions of ourselves – as athletes, people and friends.
Credentials: CFL1 Trainer (will hopefully be adding the NASM CPT very soon!)
My devotion for NWCF begins with its connection with the community. NWCF offers an atmosphere that encourages and is driven towards a robust and healthy lifestyle. The part I value most about NWCF is the knowledge and confidence of the coaches to help others reverse the negative outcomes of modern living.

I’m new to NWCF and I’m excited about bringing a slightly different take on how to get the most out of every experience that happens in the gym, whether that is through improving mobility, energy management, or technical prowess and to make sure that you walk out of every session feeling better than when you came in.
Favorite movement: Muscle Up, Kettlebell snatch
Least favorite movement: Squat Clean
Favorite WOD: Anything body weight related
My motivation as a coach: To teach people how to have a better relationship with their body, and to use the skills I have had from over 25 years of performing and coaching gymnastics and flexibility to help fill in some of that gaps that are usually missed in making yourself more healthy.
Credentials: OPEX CCP (ongoing), Strong First Girya (SFG), Australian FIG Level 2 Coach (gymnastics), Cirque du Soleil Performance Coach, CrossFit L1.
NWCF has given me a community of hardworking, dedicated people with the common goal of bettering themselves and their physical abilities. I’ve never felt like I belong more in a place than I do at NWCF.
Favorite movement: Deadlift and Cleans
Least favorite movement: I don’t really have a least favorite movement. Any movement I don’t like at the time, I see as an opportunity to get better at.
Favorite WOD: I’m a huge fan of interval weight training. That is, heavy weights followed by bursts of cardio/endurance movements.
My motivation as a coach: I love seeing my members achieve something they have been working on for a while or improve in areas that have been challenging them. I love giving feedback and having that transfer into success.
Credentials: Crossfit Level 1, CrossFit Programming
I have met amazing people from all walks of life at NWCF, people I would otherwise not know and some of them will be lifelong friends.
Favorite Movement: Snatch
Least Favorite: Front Squat. Do it until you love it! I am almost to “like” and it has been 9 years.
Favorite Wod: Any Wod with Olympic lifts. Snatch, clean, clean and jerk.
My motivation as a coach: As a coach I learn from the athletes every time I see them. I am inspired by their work ethic and their spirit to always try harder and reach for excellence. I really treasure all of them. The variety, challenge, quality people and the inevitable successes you will have makes me happy.
Credentials: CrossFit level 1×2. Olympic lifting certification level 1. Carl Paoli gymnastics Seminar. Lincoln Bingham Olympic lifting seminar and additional private training in Olympic lifting.
Favorite movement: Russian Kettle bell swings and Farmers Carry.
Least favorite movement: I can’t say that I have a least favorite movement, I am a movement nerd but short WOD’s are my least favorite because they generally are a grind and are extremely difficult.
Favorite WOD: I have two Hero WOD’s. Murph for Memorial Day and Glen on the 4th of July. Two WOD’s that challenge your mind set and positive self-talk.
My motivation as a coach: To help people in the spaces where I was once stuck. We are all trying to sort through so much information regarding health and exercise it’s hard to know where to begin and what to do. I enjoy helping people I see my old self in, someone who was 230lbs, emotionally binge eating with an untreated Hypothyroid. A story many can relate to. It’s important to me to give these individuals hope and ignite the power that they already possess to change their own lives and take their health into their own hands.
