Not sure what NW Complete Fitness is all about? We’ve designed a special on-ramp class for anyone new to our community.
Who is this class for?
NWCF’s On Ramp is for anyone who is new to our gym, but especially if you do not have experience with Olympic weight lifting, gymnastics, and more. The workouts can be easily scaled up or down, so they are designed for all fitness levels. We just spend a lot more time on instruction.
We request that all new members attend at least one on-ramp course before signing up for regular classes.
Why is this required?
While we fully understand that some new members may have experience with fitness, we want to provide a safe workout for everyone. We require the completion of our On Ramp course to ensure you are knowledgeable of the movements and technique incorporated in our classes. Plus, this gives us a chance to get to know you!
If you really know all the movements, ask your coach if you can test out of the rest of the beginner classes at the end of class.
What will the course include?
On Ramp is a 6 class program and will go over the basic movements incorporated in our daily classes. We will teach you the basic technique, the purpose behind each movement. Why do we do these? What muscles are worked? As well as how to include them in a workout. Each class will include practice with a specific skill component you will oftentimes find in our programming.
What should I bring/expect?
Each class will focus on a new movement and include a theory concept. We will teach you the movement and perform a workout inclusive of that movement. Expect to workout! Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes and bring water!
What does it cost?
The first week is free, the second week is $100 or you can start a monthly membership.
What is the schedule?
We have classes every Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday at noon. The course runs 2 weeks (6 classes total). You can jump in any time. Schedule your free trial by picking a starting class below.
