Outdoor workouts start tomorrow, Sunday, June 6

We have an opportunity to help our Black neighbors here in Seattle. We have an amazing community at NWCF, and we can work together to make a difference.

8 Can’t Wait is a data-driven program detailing 8 policies shown to reduce police violence by 72%. Seattle has already implemented 6 of the 8 policies. We can make it to 8. Please contact Mayor Jenny Durkan to request that Seattle:

1 – Ban shooting at moving vehicles
2 – Require exhausting other means before shooting

We recognize that this is only a start, it’s part of a bigger campaign called Campaign Zero which itself is only one of many opportunities for us to help. 

Opening Sunday for outdoor workouts!

Come back to NWCF 
King County just entered modified Phase 1 re-opening, which allows for outdoor fitness and 1-on-1 indoor fitness. We will start them this Sunday!

Zoom workouts still available – no reservation, unlimited spaces
We will continue hosting classes via Zoom for those who don’t want to attend the outdoor classes. The coaches will use a headset to keep in contact with you while they also support the outdoor classes in person. 

You don’t need to reserve a spot – just log in with the usual zoom link at the start time.

Outdoor workouts – reservation recommended, 5 spaces
Reservation is recommended (details below!) as classes will be limited to only 5 athletes. Each outdoor station will have its own coat hook, sanitizer, equipment, and more. They will be hosted around the outside of the gym. Please be careful using the parking lot as 3 of them will be in the parking lot!

Because in-person class space is limited to only 5 athletes per class, we recommend that you reserve a spot ahead of time. Here’s how:

  2. Accept our updated waiver
  3. Read and understand the athlete guidelines
  4. Screen yourself for symptoms before each class – if you have any of the symptoms in the athlete guidelines, please stay home and enjoy our Zoom classes
  5. Get your fitness on!

Sat: 8AM, 9AM, 10AM
Sun: 8AM, 9AM

How do I access the classes on Zoom? 
We will use one link for all the classes all week. Join at this link when your class is scheduled. If you join a few minutes ahead of time, you may see the previous class finishing up.
