Jody has been working in the health and fitness industry for nearly a decade as a personal trainer and yoga teacher, and she is passionate about movement and about living a healthy, active lifestyle. Her background in fitness highly influences her yoga practice and teaching style, which focuses on strengthening and balancing the body to improve the body's daily functioning and overall well being. Jody encourages her students to connect with their physical bodies first, and then guides them to observe the transformations that occur naturally in their spirit with continued practice. Along with yoga, Jody enjoys running, snowboarding, hiking and doing just about anything outdoors.
